Orphanage visit

SEACCC activities do not stop after we came back from Cambodia.

We continue to help our children and we do activities in Malaysia itself.

Visiting the orphanages are one of the activities we do here back in Malaysia to help the children. But as you all know, most of the orphanages in Malaysia is supported by the NGOs and rich individuals.

Unlike those children at other southeast asia countries, their children are not as lucky as our children here. Even the orphans get things they wanted and spurred with love and care.

What SEACCC do then?

Well, we are not giving the the orphanages foods, items or money... We are more into educating and motivating the children. We believe that through motivation and education we can teach the children in becoming a better person.

We all know that different children had different approach to help them. If we were to help the Cambodia children, we not only need to educate them but we need to buy them other necessities such as clothes, books and foods.

We have visited few orphanages in KL area...and we had alot of fun interacting with the children there. It really amaze us how active these children are. Of course, not every children are active and proactive when we interact with them. Some of the kids keep quite and when we try to talk with them, they just keep quite... It's understandable as some children are shy and they do not dare to talk to strangers.

The moments with the kids really taught us alot...in understanding the children more. What they want and how they feel. Kids like to tells stories. They like to share their stories with us...they want people to hear to them like what happen in school today and what they have for lunch...

We; the youth should involve more in these kind of activities as we get to understand more about these children....

SEACCC is about creating awareness among youth the importance of helping and giving love, care to our children. Our children here means not only Malaysian children but also children in our neighboring countries...

The kids are sharing their new year wish with us..

Fun time!! Each group have to come out with their own roll call.
