Cultural Performance Charity Dinner

28th of November 2008....

Palace of the Golden Horses....

A memorable date for all of us..the SEACCC members...

All of our hardwork and efforts pay off that day. =)

We started our preparation right after the Summit. (refer to the previous entry)
Lots of things we need to do. As mentioned earlier, all of us don't have any experience in doing this activities...our first time experience.

During semester break, most of us stayed back in college just to do preparation. Looking for sponsors, asking donation from the public, planning, finalizing everything...

It's really a very tense moment for all of us...

Having meetings every night...as our big day is approaching...everyone can feel the tense...

Everyday, all of us went to look for sponsors, asking donation from the public and sells the dinner ticket to the public.

There's sweet moments and of course there's moment where all of us feel like giving up. But, our president that time never give up and keep on motivating us. As we all already started our journey and we shall not quit half way!

Challenges and obstacles that we faced along our journey had taught us to be tougher.

SEACCC Summit 2008

SEACCC first event is "SEACCC Summit". This summit was held at Health Science Faculty a.k.a Fakulti Sains Perubatan. 16th of August 2008 is the date we start our journey. Before this summit, lots of preparation we need to do. Doing research, contact the students from Singapore, Brunei, Thailand and other Southeast Asia countries as well.

It was our first time doing this event and all of us had no experience in it at all. All start from zero. Each and everyone of us who were there that time learnt alot from it. For your information, majority of our members that time is just a freshie. Means we don't know anything.

We are very happy because all of our hardwork pay off. We managed to invite students from Singapore, Thailand and Brunei to come over for the summit. The rest of other countries students cannot make it over here (Malaysia) for the summit.

16th of August 2008 is Saturday and this means the first year students, which are majority of our members skipped co-curricular activities just to make this summit a success.

There's a quote saying that in order to get something, we need to sacrifice.

And that's what all of our members do.

The discussion among all the summit participants were very meaningful. We discussed on the topic "Problems faced by children nowadays". Every participants from each country presented their study/research on the problems faced by their children. As for the countries which do not have their representative at the summit, we represent them. Of course lots of research need to be done.

Here's some pictures of the summit:
